Dear Rev. Lueck,

I recently received a little plastic card from a Lutheran pastor, retired, that he must have gotten from your church, perhaps some time ago. His name is Bob Gibson. It has your symbol and a quote from Rev. Richard Halverson. I like the quote and find it more true all the time.

Your website is well done and the church looks alive. May God bless you in your ministry. I like your messages.

My husband is a retired PCUSA pastor and we are living in Bristol Village in Waverly, OH which is 60 miles south of Columbus, OH. We have been here 10 years. Our last camping trip before retiring was spent in Petoskey. Our pastorate then was in Garden Cit,MI. After retiring we were full timers with a truck and a 5th wheel trailer for 4 years before settling here. Bristol Village was started by 4 Presbyterian churches early in 1962. It is now owned by National Church Residences. Come and see our lovely place. 300 private homes and many activities and wonderful people.

You may be sorry you showed me your blog as I am one of those people with time on their hands who may respond! Back in the days of my employment, everyday I prayed on my drive to school to "Help me make a difference in the life of a child today." When I passed the Sacramentine Monastery and saw that big white cross in the woods it would remind to put my thoughts in order. Once I got to school things were too busy, but that time alone in the car was great.
